While other students were excited to learn with Silid Aralan, this alumnus took his time. Starting out as early as Grade 2, he was eager to improve in school but he didn’t excel until later on. He’s had his fair share of experience in failure, and was even too ashamed to show his report card at one point. But with the encouragement of his facilitator, he was motivated to do better. He was guided by his tutors and even realized how much he excelled in math. Inspired by those who taught him, he’s now on the way to becoming a math teacher himself and is currently in his 3rd year at the Philippine Normal University.
