Maria, a.k.a. Maca, was a soft-spoken grade school student before joining Silid Aralan. Although she was getting good grades, she struggled with public speaking and oral communication. She was content with simply studying and playing before Silid. But with the program, Maca began exploring her interests by joining Silid’s activities, eventually learning how to love studying through her tutors. This mindset change allowed her to realize her dreams, and now she’s a college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Rizal System-Rodriguez, living happily with her family and her firstborn.
